La toute nouvelle série de la saga de Type-Moon, Fate/Zero, sera lancée en simulcast gratuit sur la plate-forme japonaise Nico Nico sous-titrée en en huit langues, dont le français. C'est le site Wakanim.tv qui a révélé hier cette information lâchée quelques heures plus tôt dans un communiqué d'Aniplex. Nico Nico est un peu l'équivalent japonais de YouTube, des fonctionnalités inédites en plus comme la possibilité de poster des commentaires directement sur l'image d'une vidéo. Ce site fait de plus en plus parler de lui. Il a développé en avril dernier une version internationale en anglais (Nico Nico.com) sur laquelle on trouve déjà d'autres simulcasts (Blood C a été lancé cet été en anglais). Enfin, Nico Nico était présent cette année à Japan Expo avec un stand imposant pour relayer sur la toile les événements du salon.
La diffusion de Fate/Zero se fera en partenariat avec le producteur et distributeur Aniplex (une branche de Sony). Enfin, d'après nos informations, la série ne sera visible que temporairement sur Nico Nico. Au bout d'une semaine, chaque épisode sera ensuite relayé sur KZ Play qui devrait, ensuite, prendre le relais de sa diffusion française sur le plus long terme.
Au fait, qu'est-ce que Fate/Zero ? Il s'agit d'une prequelle à Fate / Stay Night (édité justement chez Kazé). Les évènements se situent 10 ans plus tôt, pendant la quatrième guerre du Saint-Graal...
