GOLDORAK N°1 des ventes en DVD /UFORobotGrendizer No. 1 selling DVD in France

C'est un retour gagnant ! Sorti le 5 juin dernier chez AB Vidéo, le premier coffret DVD de Goldorak s'est hissé n°1 des ventes en France. L'éditeur annonce avoir vendu 10.000 coffrets à ce jour (Source GFK).
Claude Berda, président et co-fondateur du Groupe AB, en a profité pour rappeler son lien avec l'animation japonaise : “C’est avec Goldorak que j’ai découvert les mangas et l’animation japonaise au début des années 1980. J’ai été immédiatement conquis et ça m’a convaincu de partir au Japon pour y rencontrer les dirigeants de la Toei afin de leur acheter les droits de tous ces animes qui, plus tard, ont fait le succès du Club Dorothée : Dragon Ball, Nicky Larson, Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque et tant d’autres…”. Et d'ajouter : “On peut dire que sans Goldorak, l’histoire d’AB, mon histoire d’entrepreneur, n’aurait certainement pas été la même.”
Le Groupe AB a même été le dernier diffuseur de Goldorak, sur la chaîne Mangas (AB Cartoons) en 1997, avant que la série ne soit bloquée pendant de longues années.
Mais revenons à l'édition DVD ! La série sera répartie sur six coffrets. Le second est prévu le 4 septembre et le troisième en décembre 2013. AB Vidéo confirme qu'ils contiendront des bonus.

It's a win back! Released on June 5 at AB Video, the first DVD box UFO Robot Grendizer was hoisted No. 1 in sales in France. The publisher announced that it sold 10,000 boxes to date (source GFK).
Claude Berda, president and co-founder of the AB Group, took the opportunity to remind its relationship with Japanese animation: "It is with Grendizer I discovered manga and Japanese animation in the early 1980s. I was hooked immediately and I was convinced to go to Japan to meet with the leaders of the Toei to buy their rights all these animes which later led to the success of the Club Dorothée: Dragon Ball City Hunter, Saint-Seiya, and many others ... ". He added: "We can say that without Goldorak, history of AB, my history as an entrepreneur, would certainly not have been the same."
AB Group was even the last diffuser Grendizer on the Manga chain (AB Cartoons) in 1997, before the series is blocked for many years.
But back to the DVD edition! The series will be spread over six boxes. The second is scheduled for 4 September and the third in December 2013. AB Video confirms that they contain bonus.
